You're in luck. We've extended the deadline for our second biennial research competition. Proposals are now due midnight June 10, 2010.
We are particularly interested in attracting new talent--graduate students and non-tenured faculty--but anyone can enter. A jury will award up to 12 semi-finalists $5,000 to develop their proposals into full papers due in January 2011. Finalists will then be selected to receive an all-expense paid trip to D.C. to present their papers. The winner will receive $10,000, and all other finalists will receive $1,000-$5,000. In addition, NCTQ and jury members will endorse the papers for publication in leading academic journals.
